The Longhi Foundation is one of the four founding members of the IRIS consortium which was founded in 1993. The other founding members are the Berenson Library at Villa I Tatti, the library of the Uffizi Gallery and the Dutch universities’ Florentine institute, the Istituto Universitario Olandese. Three other institutions have since joined this association: the Istituto Nazionale di Studi sul Rinascimento, the Opificio delle Pietre Dure and the Università Internazionale dell’Arte. The Longhi Foundation shares an on-line computer catalogue with the other members of the consortium. The catalogue includes more than 224,000 titles.
