Institutional cooperation

The Longhi Foundation is one of the four founding members of the IRIS consortium which was founded in 1993. The other founding members are the Berenson Library at Villa I Tatti, the library of the Uffizi Gallery and the Dutch universities' Florentine institute, the Istituto Universitario Olandese. Three other institutions have since joined this association: the Istituto Nazionale di Studi sul Rinascimento, the Opificio delle Pietre Dure and the Università Internazionale dell'Arte. The Longhi Foundation shares an on-line computer catalogue with the other members of the consortium. The catalogue includes more than 224,000 titles.
